Northern Michigan Photographer
Hey there! I’m Rachel – the face behind the camera at Little Kee’s Photography.
I’m a Michigan gal, based in the charming town of Grayling, where the coffee is strong and the photo ops are even stronger.
My love affair with photography started way back in 2011 when I picked up a DSLR and basically never put it down. There’s just something magical about turning real-life moments into art—it’s like catching lightning in a bottle, except less dangerous and more Instagrammable.
My favorite part of this job? The confidence boost people get when they see their photos! Whether you’re laughing mid-session or seeing your final gallery for the first time, those genuine smiles are everything.
I’m a sucker for a great view and will 100% hike through the woods to find the perfect photo spot (bonus points if there’s a waterfall). Fall is my season—I mean, is there anything better than crisp air, crunchy leaves, and that golden light?
Now for some fun facts:
• I’m a proud “fur mom” to two cats and one very photogenic dog. Warning: if you follow me on social media, you will see them… often.
• I make lame jokes during sessions and laugh at them too. It’s part of the charm.
• I’m happily taken by my partner-in-life-and-creative-chaos, Fred (aka Freddy). He’s my behind-the-scenes hero, and you’ll probably meet him during events or sessions.
• I’ve got a kick-ass sister who’s my built-in hype woman, assistant, and life coach rolled into one. You’ll likely see her at group sessions, being awesome.
• And the name “Little Kee’s”? That comes from my sweet nephew who couldn’t quite say “auntie” and called me “Kee” instead. So yeah, my business name has all the sentimental vibes.
I’m super family-oriented and love being around people who make me laugh, feel loved, and bring out the best in me—and that includes my clients. My sessions are laid-back, full of laughs, and sprinkled with cheesy jokes and genuine moments.
